Transbec warranty by product group: AMPRO - Alternators and Starters: 2 years BREMSEN - Discs and Drums: 2 years / 80,000km (against excessive corrosion) BREMSEN - Brake Pads (BCD): 1 year (90 days for commercial use) BREMSEN DEFENDER - Brake Pads: 1 year / 20,000km (included commercial use) CHASSIS PRO - Steering and Suspension: 5 years EDGE - Wheel Bearings: 2 years EUROVISION - Lights: 1 year EVOLUTION - Shocks, Struts & Complete Assembly: Lifetime Warranty (Limited) HYTEC - Water Pumps: 1 year PROFUSION - Brake Discs / Drums / Pads: 1 year / 20,000km UCX - Brake Calipers: 1 year / 20 000 Km All other products distributed by Transbec have a 90 day warranty. FREIGHT: New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, P.E.I., Québec, Ontario • Freight prepaid on shipments of $500 .00 or more Newfoundland • Freight prepaid on shipments of $750 .00 or more West of the Ontario - Manitoba border • Freight prepaid on shipments of $1000 .00 or more Yukon and Western Territories • Freight prepaid on shipments of an indefinite amount All prepaid shipments will be via the transporter of our choice. MERCHANDISE RECEPTIONS: • If goods are damaged, or if cartons are missing, mention should be made of it on receiving slip upon reception. In case of doubt as to goods state, unpack and inspect merchandise before accepting delivery; • All pick up orders must be checked for accuracy by your driver before signing the packing slip; • Short shipped merchandise must be claimed within two (2) working days of delivery date. MERCHANDISE RETURNS: • All defective merchandise must be inspected and returned by your Transbec Account Manager unless opposite indication. Do not use a courier service or freight company; • Any new merchandise returns require prior written authorization and must be returned, freight prepaid. Please email your list to your Account Mgr. for approval and we will issue a Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA). This number must appear clearly on the box containing the returned merchandise; • Transbec will accept a maximum of 5% of the previous year’s purchases. No credit will be issued on discontinued products; • A 10% restocking charge will be applied to all new product returns; • All new merchandise returned without prior authorization will be returned to the customer; • All merchandise returns, defective or new, must be accompanied by a copy of the original purchase invoice; • If the packaging of the returned merchandise is not in resalable condition, a 10% repackaging fee will be applied; • Any merchandise returned as defective will be credited only if, after inspection, the returned product is judged as defective by our technicians; • All tools and equipment returned for warranty will be repaired and returned to the customer freight prepaid. Any tool or piece of equipment returned for repair under warranty must be complete with all its parts and accessories; • The product warranty does not apply to any product that has been improperly installed, misused, neglected, modified or machined; • Transbec will not be liable for costs any greater than the original purchase price of the item nor expenses connected with the replacement of the goods on the vehicle.
